Sidewalks

I was in Cary this week and was struck by the seemless web of sidewalks. Perhaps it is just so much easier to build them in new communities, as with here in Southern Village. It's just a shame that we cannot seem to do the same throughout our community.

Chapel Hill Transit does no appear to participate in this Google Maps service. If you pick the public transit for a directions search here, you may find as I did that the response is:

When clicking on that link, the list does not include Chapel Hill Transit or any other public transit in NC.

With all of the bricks in Chapelboroham, and the need always for more sidewalks, isn't this a tremendous way to exercise our First Amendment rights, remember people, words or whatever you like. I hope the idea - not, of course, a new one - spreads rapidly all over Chapelboroham!

It's becoming increasingly rare - thank goodness - to go to a website and not find an e-mail address there for contact. Perhaps e-mail is too fare in the future for a historical "society" to include!
